The sun shines on St Louis

I hear from friends and family that the UK is covered in snow, the weather’s miserable, and it’s cold, cold, cold. So to cheer you up I thought I’d post a photo I took just before noon today. The sculpture is Nijinski Hare by Barry Flanagan, a pretty piece of art just next to the Savvis Center in downtown St Louis. But more importantly, I’d like to draw your attention to the clear, cloudless, deep blue skies; the air is fresh, the weather is good, and there’s not a snowflake or rain drop to be seen.
I that a new way of spelling George W’s name?

Busch is the surname of one of the founders of the Anheuser-Busch brewery here in St. Louis. It brews Budweiser and a million other beers. I think it appears on the arena behind the statue due to some sponsorship deal. The baseball stadium in the city is called the Busch Stadium.
— Matt,
